It is sent to all Alumnae and Faculty for whom a current address is available. CURRENT NEWSLETTER - OCTOBER, 2011 If you wish to receive your Newsletter exclusively on-line, please let us know at: newsletter@sphsalumnae.org Currently each issue of the newsletter costs about $3,600.00 for printing and postage and we continue to encourage everyone who is able to request the newsletter via email. An email reminder with a link to the webpage is sent when the new newsletter is posted to the website. Receiving the newsletter on-line has cut 300-400 out of the U.S. mails, but there is still a lot to send through the U.S. Postal Service. The Alumnae Board believes that keeping in touch with each graduate is valuable, even if they do not support the effort with $15 dues. The benefits for classes having reunions and the outreach the Alumnae continues to do for tuition assistance and other projects make this a worthwhile investment. All newsletters can be opened as a pdf file and downloaded. The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for pdf documents can be downloaded for free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html NOTE: The newsletter file is quite large (due to photos) and may take a while to download. If you have dial-up internet connection, please be patient.
